For the Trust to produce good results it is important to us that we recruit and retain the best staff. As a Trust we are our own employer subscribing to all local and national terms and conditions of employment for all staff. The Trust is welcoming of all new staff with its induction processes constantly under review. Staff turnover is low. As we continue to grow, however, employment opportunities continue to appear. The Wardle Trust recognises the skills of its staff and encourages progressive CPD for both teaching and associate employees. If you feel that you can add to the quality of that provision within the Wardle Trust we would love to hear from you.
We are always on the look out for great maths, English and primary education teachers. If you’re ambitious, work hard, and have the necessary qualifications, skills and personality for teaching, we want to hear from you. With our partner, Great is a teaching recruitment and support provision that we have partnered with to provide ongoing support and welfare benefits to our new teaching staff.
We work closely with external groups such as the Rochdale Education and Learning (REAL) Trust, the Northern Alliance training network and the Rochdale Pioneer Trust to support and meet the training needs of all colleagues regardless of post.
Over the last few years several associate colleagues have been supported to become both teachers and heads of department. Senior staff have been supported to become deputy headteachers, and in two cases, headteachers, thereby creating additional employment openings within the school.
Staff have the benefit of exclusive after-school use to a new fitness gym plus staff only swimming sessions. Social events, free-flu jabs and assistance with personal and legal issues are examples of the work organised by our HR team to support colleagues.
The Trust’s leave of absence policy is ‘family orientated’ recognising the importance to parents of events such as final primary school assemblies, or graduation days. For musicians there are many opportunities both to play and to support musical events.
Quality learning experiences for the children, both in and out of the classroom, are at the centre of all of our activities. The Trust is committed to supporting and developing the quality and provisions provided by it’s teaching and associate staff.
Our progressive approach ensures senior support and guidance to all new staff as well as regular developmental opportunities for ambitious employees. If you would like to discuss or explore any employment opportunities with us further, please do not hesitate to contact us, and thank you again for showing an interest.
